What do Bed Bug Bites Look like? It is difficult to say exactly what a bed bug bite looks like because skin reaction, body types, and sleep patterns vary from person to person. While one person may experience severe redness, burning, itching, pimple looking spots, white dots surrounded by redness, rashes, or even a black head in the bite, the flip-side may be that a person could get bit and show absolutely no sign of bites. It is important to note that bed bugs inject an anesthetic upon penetrating their host numbing the person to the intrusion. Bed Bugs often take their blood meal in the deep of night when a person is in their deepest sleep. In the case of the gentleman on the left, the bed bugs were caught in the act feeding in the morning only on his left ankle(picture of the bed bug specimen below). The bed bugs were discovered in a bed in a room that was closest to his left ankle. This picture was taken this morning at one of our Free Bed Bug inspections. This Gentleman was bit all up his leg with some of the pimple looking bite marks.
