Bed Bug Infestation on Mattress A Bed Bug Heat Treatment isn't cheap but is worth being finally rid of those blood sucking pests. The answer is it Depends. If the bugs are physically in 2 or more areas of the home (not where you think they are, e.g. "their only in one room"), then the answer is: Now is the time to bring the heat. If they are physically in only one room and the infestation is manageable and small then it is possible to eradicate by heating just that room with supplement treatment around the home via treatment product. Although spray treatments are available they would almost never be recommended because bugs and eggs are resistant to chemicals and often deeply hidden from the treatment thus re-infestation is inevitable. Spray treatments are a gamble and the tenant will continue to be bit during the 6-12 treatment time. A heat Treatment on the entire structure is the only treatment with a one year warranty.
